PROFILE
Rodger & Christina Cullen are the owners of South Dock Models. Rodger & Christina live in Blenheim, South Island, New Zealand where the business is now located. They bought South Dock Models for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was important that years of development and manufacturing of the NZR rolling stock and passenger cars were not lost to the hobby and secondly the enjoyment of re-introducing (and upgrading) some already sidelined kits from other manufacturers back into the hobby using modern materials and processes.
Both Rodger and Christina bring a strong degree of expertise in business management, design and logistics from current business ventures that they own. Rodger & Christina have two daughters and three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Rodger has been involved with model rail for more than 30 years, he is passionate about his hobby and is a perfectionist in whatever he undertakes. Christina is the background support for the team and is happy in the office.
Rodger has gathered a wealth of information over the years and has found the model rail fraternity to be an enjoyable group to work with and if needed Rodger is always ready to help others if required. There is a lot of skill and expertise among modelers, much of this gathered over the years by trial and error and a passion for the hobby.
